Health & Safety International Day in Action

On Monday, April 27, a special event was successfully held at the Thrace Nonwovens & Geosynthetics facilities in Magiko, Xanthi, to mark World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

The initiative was designed to engage employees from different shifts and focused on strengthening the culture of prevention and preparedness for emergency situations.

The event included:

▪️ Training delivered by Sir Safety System, combining theoretical guidance on workplace safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), with interactive activities that enhanced employee participation and understanding.

▪️ Hands-on training by the Fire Service, including fire extinguisher use and a demonstration of firefighting equipment.

▪️ Training provided by Zarifopoulos on the operation of local fire protection systems.

The active participation of employees, together with the support of the Health & Safety Committee and the Workers’ Union, played a key role in the success of the initiative.

For us, Health & Safety at work is a daily priority, a shared responsibility, and a fundamental part of our culture.
