A knitted construction net produced from 100% high density polyethylene monofilament yarns. Thrace Group Windbreaker Nets protect crops and plants from wind and come with UV resistance for long term exposure to the sun. 

USES & FUNCTIONS

Thrace Group Windbreaker Nets modify climate conditions in order to encourage crop yields. They protect from micrometeorological modifications of cool weather that damage crops and plants due to influenced turbulent characteristics.

  3. Width ranges from 1.00 m to 6.00 m, broadening the applications` spectrum.
  4. Available in standard 100 m rolls, in jumbo rolls and also available in mini rolls.
  5. Weight 100, 110 & 160 gr/m2 for different application needs and requirements.
  6. Prevent physical damage suffered by plants such as wind scarring, broken branches and fruit and blossom losses.
  7.  In some cases, a windbreaker can help retain humidity levels enough to prevent overnight frost.
