The Company trading under the name “PLASTIKA THRAKIS PLASTICS HOLDINGS S.A.” and the distinctive title “THRACE PLASTICS CO S.A.” (hereinafter referred to as “the Group” or/and “Thrace Plastics) considers the security and protection of your personal data as its highest priority, regardless of the capacity in which you communicate or cooperate with the company, such as, but not limited to, website visitors, former or current customers, users of its services, employees, suppliers, or collaborating third parties.

This privacy policy outlines how Thrace Plastics, and its group companies collect and process your personal data and informs you about your rights according to Law 4624/2019 on data protection and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Your personal data includes any information that can lead, either directly or in combination with others, to your unique identification or location as an individual. This category includes, but is not limited to, information such as your name, Tax Identification Number, social security number, physical and electronic addresses, landline and mobile phone numbers, banking/debit/prepaid card numbers, email addresses, evaluation details, internet search history (log files, cookies, etc.), and any other information that allows your unique identification in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2016/679) and the current Greek legislation and decisions of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA). S.A. and the Thrace Group companies recognize that the protection of personal data is important to you and are committed to taking actions to protect your personal data accordingly.

As the Data Controller, we will always request the minimum required personal data for you to receive the services of Thrace Plastics Co. S.A. These include, as appropriate, name, surname, email address, phone number, passport/ID details, payment method which may include credit card information, postal address for billing or shipping an invoice or receipt for services rendered, as well as transaction-related details.
The collection of your personal data is almost always done for the execution of a transaction, primarily in your capacity as our customer and/or supplier and/or visitor to the corporate website. Thrace Plastics Co. S.A. retains your personal data only for as long as required by the contractual terms of each service, in conjunction with the applicable economic, tax, and other legislation, based on the respective purpose of processing, after which it anonymizes or deletes the data.

2.    Personal Data of Minors

In general, for the execution of its activities, Thrace Plastics Group neither collects nor processes personal data of minors, nor provides information society services to individuals under the age of 15. It may process personal data of minors under the age of 15 based on their participation in events organized by Thrace Plastics; in such cases, we always obtain the explicit written consent of their parents.

 

3.    Legal Basis for Processing your Data

Thrace Plastics will process your information for at least one of the following legitimate processing purposes:
A.    For the signing and execution of a contract that exists between the two parties and the fulfillment of related contractual obligations.
B.    Because it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation such as fulfilling their tax and accounting obligations.
C.    To serve the legitimate business interests of the group, as well as the legitimate interests of third parties. Legitimate interest is when there is a business or commercial reason to use your information. Even then, this use is in accordance with your fundamental rights, for example:

6.    For how long your data is retained

Thrace Plastics will process and store your Personal Data for the entire duration of the business relationship between the two parties and as long as it is necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations.
Thrace Plastics will delete your data:
•    When it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which this information was collected and processed.
•    Upon your request or objection to the processing, provided there are no legal reasons requiring us to retain this information.
•    When it is not necessary for compliance with legal obligations.
•    If the collection and processing of the data was based on your consent, after the withdrawal of your consent, without affecting the legality of the processing based on the consent before it was withdrawn or revoked by you.

 

7.    Automated decision and Profiling

In the performance of their business activities, Thrace Plastics does not use automated decision-making processes. They may process certain aspects of your data in order to initiate a business relationship with you.

Thrace Plastics may process your personal data to inform you about products and offers that may be of interest to you or your business.
The personal data processed by Thrace Plastics for this purpose consist of information provided and data collected when using group services. Thrace Plastics has trained and responsible personnel who recognize the importance of protecting privacy and all your personal information. To this end, they have appropriate security policies and use suitable technical and operational tools, such as data encryption, firewalls, access level establishment, personnel authorized to carry out processing, staff training, and periodic privacy audits.
Any partner who has access to the above information uses it solely to serve the above purposes. Thrace Plastics shares the information you provide to us exclusively in the ways described in the existing Privacy Policy.
